Tour Itinerary:
- Day 1: Arrive Cochin, Transfer to Munnar- Cochin On arrival at the Cochin Airport/ Railway Station – also referred as “the getaway to Kerala”, meet and greet by our tour representative followed by transfer to your pre booked hotel. Post lunch, travel across the Cochin Harbor. Upon arrival at Fort Cochin, set off for the sightseeing tour in the city. Visit St. Francis Church, Dutch Palace (Mattancherry Palace) and Jewish Synagogue etc. The rest of the day is free. Stay overnight in the hotel.
- Day 2: Sightseeing of Munnar- After breakfast in the morning, drive and reach Munnar after covering a distance of 105 kms on the National Highway 49 from Kochi. At 1600m above sea level, Munnar is a nature lover’s paradise with its sprawling tea plantations and winding lanes. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Spend rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight in Munnar.
- Day 3: Munnar to Alleppey Houseboat- Today in the morning after breakfast we will proceed for a sightseeing tour of Munnar. Visit Mattupetty Dam, Old Munnar Town, Town Market, Eravikulam National Park and dairy farm. For adventure-seeking tourists, the place offers best conditions for paragliding and rock climbing. Stay overnight in the hotel.
- Day 4:Departure day- Spend the morning at leisure on the Alleppey houseboat. Later in the afternoon, check out and we will transfer you to Cochin airport/railway station for onward travel. Kindly share your kind feedback with us at contact@planjourneys.com .
