Tour Itinerary:
- Day 1: Delhi-Shimla (By road covering 370 Kilometers)-Your fabulous honeymoon trip of Shimla & Manali commences with your arrival at New Delhi where you are received by PlanJourneys representative, who then takes charge of the tour by transferring you to a cab for by-road journey to Shimla. Shimla, which was once the summer capital for the British Government would really leave you mesmerized by its natural splendor. Overnight stay in hotel.
- Day 2: Shimla-Kufri-Shimla (17 Kilometers of drive by road)- Next day after breakfast set out for Kufri which is approximately 30 minutes drive from Shimla by road. The famous ski resort of Kufri and the scenic Fagu, offers great thrill and enjoyment to honeymooners especially in the winter months. Also, the virgin peaks, dense green forest covers plus the serene ambiance of Kufri offer a perfect setting to unwind and relax. Once you are back to your hotel, rest for some time and then set out to enjoy the local attractions of Shimla like Sankat Mochan Temple, Jakhu Temple, Indian Institute of Advanced Studies. In the evening time, you can visit the Mall, the Ridge and thus enjoy the happening life of Shimla. Overnight, rest at hotel.
- Day 3: Shimla-Manali (270 Kilometers approximate by road)- Next day, set out for the picturesque hill resort of Manali. The journey will take about 7-8 hours by road. This sprawling hamlet lapped amid pine-clad mountains and the meandering course of the Beas River flowing on either side too would cast a spell on you. On arrival, take your dinner and rest overnight at the hotel.
- Day 4: Manali sightseeing- Next day is reserved for Manali sightseeing. You will get to see many unique tourist attractions of Manali like Hadimba Devi Temple, handicraft center, Tibetan monastery, the picture-perfect village of saint Vashisth, the Manu temple, the famous thermal springs of Manali. Retire to hotel in the afternoon. You are free for the evening. You can go for shopping or simply have some leisure hours with your partner. Rest overnight at the hotel.
- Day 5: Manali-Rohtang Pass-Manali (55 Kilometers drive)- The fifth day of your Himachal Honeymoon tour (Shimla-Manali) is reserved for the trip of snow clad Rohtang pass, an approximate1-2 hour uphill drive from Manali. The journey to Rohtang pass covers other destinations like Gulaba, Kothi Gorge, Marhi in its course. Arriving at Rohtang pass, you can experience real thrill and fun viewing the far-flung stretches of snow. Also, you can visit Solang valley during your Rotang pass trip to get the best views of the snowy peaks and glaciers. After finishing the trip, back to hotel and overnight stay.
- Day 6: Manali-Chandigarh (320 Kilometers by road)- Next day, set out for Chandigarh by road. It would take you about 7-8 hours to reach Chandigarh by road. The very sight of the city would make you feel good and you would at once realize why Chandigarh is called the ‘planned city’. After checking in to the hotel, get fresh, take some rest and in the afternoon go for an excursion of the city. You would get to see the unique Rock Garden and Sukhna Lake of Chandigarh. Retire to hotel for a grand dinner and an overnight stay.
- Day 7: Chandigarh-Delhi (270 Kilometers by road)- Next day, after breakfast our representative would escort you back to Delhi, which would be a by-road drive of approximate 5-6 hours.
