Kedarnath Yatra is one of the most revered and popular pilgrimage tours in India that takes devotees to the holy shrine of Kedarnath, dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is located in the Rudraprayag district of the Indian state of Uttarakhand, at an altitude of 3,583 meters above sea level.

The journey to Kedarnath begins from the town of Sonprayag, which is located around 20 kilometers from the shrine. From Sonprayag, pilgrims have to trek or take a pony ride to reach Kedarnath. The trek is challenging, with steep climbs and rugged terrain, but the natural beauty of the surroundings and the devotion of the pilgrims make the journey worthwhile.

The Kedarnath temple is believed to have been built by the Pandavas, the legendary heroes of the Indian epic Mahabharata, and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas (holy shrines of Lord Shiva) in India. The temple is surrounded by snow-clad mountains and is situated near the Mandakini river, which adds to its natural beauty.
